It took me too long to actually shoot this. The first time, everything went wrong: backdrop kept blowing over, eyelash glue made me tear up and ruin my makeup, both camera batteries were dead and I lost all the perfect twilight so I had to tear it down and wait to shoot again. The second time, I had everything all set to go and as I was waiting I took a photo for Instagram on my iPad. Then I promptly dropped my iPad an inch from the grass right onto the corner of our concrete patio. And broke the screen. And then cried because it was a graduation gift from my parents. Mom and I looked around for the warranty receipt but I felt like, one again, shooting was ruined. But everything was all set up so I took a breather, fixed my lipstick and got it done. I really want to explore this more, especially with other models. Pleased with the end result! :) I want to call it cursed for all the trouble it took to shoot it, but that's how life goes I guess.

I've had shoots like that where everything goes wrong. Luckily it's usually just self portraits. It's horrible when there's a model waiting for you as everything malfunctions. But the end result of this is beautiful!
