It took me too long to actually shoot this. The first time, everything went wrong: backdrop kept blowing over, eyelash glue made me tear up and ruin my makeup, both camera batteries were dead and I lost all the perfect twilight so I had to tear it down and wait to shoot again. The second time, I had everything all set to go and as I was waiting I took a photo for Instagram on my iPad. Then I promptly dropped my iPad an inch from the grass right onto the corner of our concrete patio. And broke the screen. And then cried because it was a graduation gift from my parents. Mom and I looked around for the warranty receipt but I felt like, one again, shooting was ruined. But everything was all set up so I took a breather, fixed my lipstick and got it done. I really want to explore this more, especially with other models. Pleased with the end result!

I've had shoots like that where everything goes wrong. Luckily it's usually just self portraits. It's horrible when there's a model waiting for you as everything malfunctions. But the end result of this is beautiful!
